Heavy vehicle mechanic job description

This is an exciting time to join SEQ Heavy as we are rapidly growing. We have various heavy vehicle mechanic positions available for the right people both in our Archerfield depot, and for mobile truck mechanic positions. Along with great perks, and your own work vehicle you would be expected to carry out the following duties:

• Conducting routine inspections and maintenance on heavy vehicles
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults on heavy vehicles
• Conducting vehicle servicing, oil changes, and general repairs
• Conducting brake and clutch repairs
• Conducting engine rebuilds
• Conducting suspension and steering repairs
• Conducting electrical repairs
• Coaching, mentoring and assisting with work experience and/or apprentice staff
• Conducting welding and fabrication tasks
